well did you adjust the idle what rpm are you ideling at

i will say that my zuma when first started the rear wheel spins till the choke kicks off

if you are at a decent idel than your clutch springs may be weak but unless you have some real crap springs or over 10,000 miles i doubt it

I did adjust the fuel flow mixture and the air mixture, not sure what it is idleing at, all I know that whatever I set the mixtures at the rear wheel constantly spins.

this is a 2006 CPI scooter, maybe 4000k miles...
Can the clutch springs be easily replaced if thats the issue?

thanks

you need to find out what rpm it is ideling at there is a tach for sale on ebay for like 18 bucks if you cant find a cheap on localy some times a shop will throw the tach on for you for free if you know them good enough
http://cgi.ebay.com/Hour-meter-tachomet ... 2182wt_941

this will tell you if you need to look at your clutch springs

no its not hard but you do need the right tools an impact wrench makes it easy but you can some times get by with a strap wrence to hod the clutch bell
you may will a big a*s socket to take your rear sheave off the clutch and a way to hold the rear sheave without crushing it(strap wrench)
i use a brake sring tool to take the srings out

what does the fedral emissions sticker say the idle should be set at
but being its a chineese import they may not have put the sticker on
if i were to take a stab if it is idle at 1800 to say 1900 rpm and the clutch is engaging then you need to look at the springs
if it is idleing higher then that you need to lower you idle down to that and see if the wheel spins
but again you have to do this after the scooter is warmed up to operating temp
why is that the way the auto chokes work on these things is to give it extra fuel so untill it warms up the idle will be high and the tire will/may spin
