Typhoon 50 question please help

I bought a crashed Typhoon 50 2stroke. My 1st scooter ever after 35 years of dirtbikes/street motorcycles. I love it! I am always making excuses to take it up to the store or something. But it came with no dashboard or switches (crashed). Just bare wires sticking out. I figured out which ones work the lights, horn, turn signals. But I could not figure out which wires control the on/off and the electric start. The key is good enough to kick start it. But when I tried to find the electric start wires, I killed the computer. i don't want to repeat the $120 mistake!

Could someone please tell me what color wires go to the electric start button? Also the kill switch on the dash? my dealer ship is NO help.

I bought a Honda dash cheap on Ebay, just need to know what wires to plug into the starter switch.

You could try looking at the wiring diagrams in some of the repair manuals for other models of Piaggio. A lot of times, they'll keep the same color codes from model to model.

Thanks, but no help. None of the color combos listed are there. I am pretty sure I know which ones they are, but I was pretty sure I knew before, and I fried the computer somehow- not necessarily by connecting those 2 wires, but I don't want to risk it again.

I think I need someone to take apart their dash and check the wires to the start button. Anyone?

You could try PM'ing w8tlftr... i know he has a typhoon and has done a LOT of mods to his. He hasnt been on in a bit, but i'm sure if you pm him it should send him an email. GL!
