well i dont know of any pipes for the s 50 off the top of my head but i thought it should do close to 40 stock

I would have thought you'd be able to get close to 40 stock too... maybe it is restricted pretty hard. You could try pulling the variator apart to see if there is a washer put in to restrict the travel of the plates. I know some of the piaggio's also put restrictors in the exhaust... usually looks like a welded in washer that you can dremel out to get more flow.
