Moose's T5 Classic (Update. new bling!!)

Postby moose on Tue Feb 02, 2010 7:13 pm

Hi, this is my Vespa T5 Classic

bought her in october last year, she's got a malossi 176 kit, simonini exhaust, she's been painted peugeot blue by the bloke who had her before me and she's got some nice bits of chrome.

this is my first scooter and i'm glad i've finally indulged. I was interested in scooters and the Mod scene since i was pretty young and I had an appiffany while on holiday in Wales, I happened to be in a local WH Smith's and spotted Scootering Magazine. I bought the mag and since then have been hooked on the idea of owning a Vespa and bought my lovely T5 a few months later and the rest is history.

I'm still a learner but I hope to pass my full test this year so that i can go on the good far away rallies like IoW and perhaps some of the abroad rallies.

Hope you like me Scooter

loving the site

That looks really nice! A friend of mine had a T5, but he never got it running, then moved away.

What tires are you running on there? They look a bit like the Continental Zippy I've got on my LX. Ive considered replacing the way too old tires on my Super Sport with modern treaded tires, but didn't think they looked right. But those look perfect on yours!

I'm after some new one's to be fair, I'm not sure what tires I've got but they're not amazing. I'll check today, hoping to have a little ride out on it due to the sunshine
