Centrifical clutch springs

Postby roy on Wed Jul 21, 2010 6:15 pm

Kymco Agility 50, does anyone know were I can get new, centrifical clutch springs ( less tension) so the centrifical clutch can engage sooner?

Thanks

there are no springs softer then stock only stiffer to increase the engagement rpm to the new power band after you mod your scooter

JMKJR72 Thanks for the reply. I guess that is what I ment. I want to have the clutch engage at a lower RPM so it picks up sooner. Any idea where I can get the springs?

the only springs they sell will make you have to rev the engine higher to take off

they will engeave at ta higher rpm then stock

you are asking for ones that engage sooner at a lower rpm

thats if i read what you want right

they dont do that if they did your scooter will stall out when ideling on the ground as the engagement point of stock isnt much above idle

first place to look is your local dealers (if you can get scooter parts localy support your local dealer lots are failing due to the economy)

second try places like
scooterworks
scootercraft
provo

spmotor out of canada
scooter attack
sip scooter both out of germany
