well you are starting with an off brand or clone bike
so to start out with you will need to find what base engine you have (more then likely a gy6 base not sure though)
the problem that can arise is that some times there are very subtle changes in the off brands and not all parts may work
another problem that can arise is every time you change a part you will now be chancing around a new weak link in your engine
as for the varaitor unless it has a diffrent drive face angle there will be no overall gain you will either give up acceleration for top speed or top speed for acceleration
good luck with your project

hi, im not sure of the engine all though it does run sweet and sound nice aswell, doesnt sound like
a regular scooter it sounds more like a quad bike! im going to leave the variator i think, ive
just finished spraying it up today, theres a few runs too sort out images/icons/smile/redface.gif
so you would not recommend any performance parts? ive had it up to 65MPH on the flat which isnt bad i guess,
i just wanted to see if i could squeeze more out of it.

some where on the engine case you will see some numbers like 139qmb 153qmi 157qmj and this will tell you what engine you have
then the best thing i can say is look for performance parts for that enigne and go to boards that are chineese scoot specific to find the best way to mod them and the best place to get parts
most of my experiance with moding chineese scoots are with the knock offs that run the crappy horizontal minerilli clones
and with most of them about the only thing that is good to keep if you are going to mod them out heavily is the cases

see thats the big issue with the clone companies
they do produce there own engines based off of old honda yamaha(minerllie) suzuki ect
and when they do they make changes to them so some parts work and some dont

go talk to the guys over at http://scooterrebels.proboards.com/index.cgi
they might be able to help you and say if it is a honda based gy6 engine and who if any makes parts for this engine
but i would alos verify that that engine code is the proper one and it is some where on your scooters engine it should be on the trans part of the scooter by where the vin is on the case
